INSTRUMENT HIRE

Exam Stream offers a more intensive support for students who wish to work towards instrumental music exams for Grades or NCEA, or just prefer a private one-on-one learning environment. Tuitions are based on NZ Music Examinations Board (NZMEB) curriculum, but other syllabi may be catered for, subject to prior arrangement with the tutor.

WCSM runs every Saturday during school week; upon enrolment, your tutor will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you. See the full list of dates for 2023 here. In some cases, we may be able to organise your lesson on another day of the week.

Plus, you can enjoy the same benefits as any other students. Ensemble membership is included at no extra cost, as is Language of Western Music, which will be invaluable in preparing you for the music theory portion of your examination.

Instrument hire

Limited quantities of instruments are available for hire directly through WCSM. Alternatively, rental instruments can also be obtained through local music stores.
